The history of the club was documented in book form in 2007 by author Jim Rumsey.
More than 900 games are featured in the book about the Solent Stars senior men's basketball team. With over 400 pages, the book is filled with 140 photos of teams and players over the past 27 seasons plus results of all the matches played.
Every first team player is listed and there are team photographs from most seasons plus coaching statistics and programme covers. This book is the definitive record of the club's history and was welcomed by players and team followers alike.
Author, Jim Rumsey, has been involved with the team since its inception and has used his experiences to record the various ups and downs of the club over its 27 year existence.
